We are in the Age of the Computer. We are in the Age of the Internet.
You can do almost anything, cast a vote, keep track of your finances, organize your business, and pay your taxes by computer.
I want to put it simply...
I could devise a simple way where everyone could do their taxes in less than an hour by one simple computer screen form and still raise the exact same amount of government revenue within the same tax bracket general catagories!!! Couldn't you???
But there is no individual control over where that tax money goes; what programs, what government expenditures, what welfare programs, etc., etc., etc.
When does the taxpaying individual get to, by computer screen, decide where and in what specific budgetary programs their money goes???
