Most young people want to be socially supreme and learn the 'tactics' when they are very young.
They form 'cliques.'
The 'cliques' are always in a state of social rivalry to see who the real social supremacists are.
The tactics they learn are to pick on or laud other groups and pick on or laud others outside of 'their' or within their group.
'They' become social animals.
Even within their families, 'they' become social animals.
An excellent example of this is in Janet Campbell Hale's book Bloodlines.
In this book, she outlines the fundamental dysfunctional behaviors of her own personal family relative to her apparent position as family scapegoat, a social position she had been socially placed into by her mother and sisters, and a position within normal families described to her in her first Social Psychology course she took in her first year in college in San Francisco. I have become extremely familiar with being placed into that position by others for my entire life, and have observed these picking social or anti-social behaviors in others, including my own family.
Hale goes on to describe how these picking behaviors of her own personal family, mother and sisters, eventually drove her away from her personal ancestral genetic family roots.
Cherríe Moraga tells a different story of the picking social behaviors of herself and other girls in high school relative to racial Chicano color and whiteness.
Then she evolves a frightening story about the abusive picking social and sexual behaviors of males who seem to need to abuse women physically, slap them and rape them.

I wish to announce that here before me, in Madison, WI USA are the former male and female members of Mulan's Dynasty. If I am not mistaken, it is the Han dynasty.
It is coming to me that my Professor in Sociology, Professor Wu, was formerly the Emperor of the Han Dynasty, and that a young Oriental or Asian woman, who seems to be very psychically involved with Wu, and he with her, and just had to get into his class, with me in it, was Mulan's sister at an earlier time, perhaps within the Han Dynasty.
