I believe, and I believe this can be proven and found, that when Charles I. of Britain married Henrietta Maria of the House of Bourbon in France in the line of Charlemagne and Capet, that she had an entourage of ladies-in-waiting which initially got sent back to France. Charles didn't, at the outset, want to appear too Catholic or French; there were a lot of head-hunters. Charles later had his head chopped off by the same man that deposed my Grandfather from his estates in Worcester. My father says his wife and the mother of his first born son, Aabraham, was 'thought to be' Elisabeth French. I know the Queen of Britain, Charles wife, was of the House of Bourbon. This House died off in France in 1883.

Oliver Cromwell overwhelmed the British Crown and had King Charles I.'s head chopped off and the British Aristocracy began to do battle with Cromwell to reinstall the British Crown in the name of Charles I.'s Son, Charles II. Why would my Great Grandfather fight to the death in the Battle of Worcester, why would they fight the Duke of Worcester in Worcester if he wasn't actually married to a House of Bourbon close relative of Henrietta Maria, King Charles' wife and the sister of the mother of Louis XIV., the French "Sun King". Why would we not be able to find out the purportedly French wife's real name?? Was this all hidden by my Grandfather and perhaps the French wife of Charles I.??
